All students are required to submit copies of their theses or dissertations electronically in Portable Document Format (PDF) to ProQuest after the initial paper draft of the thesis has been approved by the School of Graduate Studies. After submission of the PDF copy to ProQuest, full-text versions will be available through MOspace, the digital institutional repository of the University of Missouri System. Recent UMKC theses and dissertations may be seen here.
In-person formatting workshops are held each September and January for students who are working on their theses and dissertations. Attendance at one of these workshops is highly encouraged. An abbreviated version of the workshop is also offered online via the UMKC School of Graduate Studies Youtube channel: Part One Part Two
The upcoming Formatting workshops will be scheduled during the Fall semester.
